Trying to Increase Confidence in Daughter

My daughter is in reception and has developed a confidence problem. She hardly speaks in class although she seems to get on well with other children her age.
She was always fairly quiet, but confidence has never really been an issue until she started primary school.
She has started dance lessons and because it is a small group she is her normal self there. She is quite different at school, and doesn't enjoy most parties, I think just because there are so many children.
Does anybody have any ideas of how I can make things easier for her at school?
I have been worrying about this and don't really know what best to do.

I think it's something they just learn in time tbh.

some children just aren't naturally "pushy" (for want of a better word!) in big groups.

Has she made any particular friends?

She was at the nursery school that was part of the primary school so she knew the environment, teachers etc before she started.
Her best friend at nursery is in the same class, however, the friendship has turned into a love/hate relationship and I think it may be holding her back from making new close friends.

Is she unhappy? If not, I would chill out and let her find her feet in her own time.
