Painful Poo

My DD is nearly 4 months old and is EBF.

She has just had a poop which had her crying her eyes out and her face had a very pained expression. The poo was green like mushy peas!

Since she was born she has only pooed every now and then varying between 7-15 days between poo's.

Should I be worried or giving her anything?

Poor love. Sounds painful.

I think that babies vary a lot, and breastfed babies poo less often than formula fed. Not sure if that is too long though. Is it normally green, is she gaining weight ok and having wet nappies?

I think they say that the green colour can be to do with too much fore milk, but in my case, DS2 had enormous green poos if I ate chocolate. It may be worth checking what you are eating.

Hope someone else can help more.

Not normally green she is gaining weight and we have lots of wet nappies.

What could it be that i'm eating?
