I have a 21 week old DS who really is unsettled anyway, we've tried everything including weening this week. Baby rice was not very popular but banana went down fantastically! Last night I tried him with a bit of carrot just to see and he wolfed it down (2 ice cubes worth). Settled him about 7.40pm everything fine UNTIL 11.40pm...woke up unsettled and got worse. I was walking the streets at 2am, still didn't settle till 5.45am. Obviously I am shattered and am very nervous about giving anything to eat other than milk today.... He seemed to be drawing his legs up like he did when he had colic. Which made me think he had stomach ache? HV's useless.... :(

He probably just liked the carrot and wolfed down too much giving him tummy ache.

You know he is fine with banana so maybe try him with this and see how he goes.
