Sweetest, politest, gentlest boy and brother in the world turning into little nightmare. Confused

Everything is 'No', ' give me', running away for nappy change, running and hiding at wash- and bathtimes, throwing toys, taking toys from sister, etc. Recently trying to run away in shops Angry

He is usually very loving and protective of sister (11m), but now takes away everything she plays with.

He declared that he does not want mummy, but only dada to lift him/play with him/watch Fireman Sam, etc...Sad. I actually cried and explained that he makes mummy sad when he pushes her away.
Is this wrong, don't want to overload him with adult emotional ballast, but didn't want to get angry or ignore it?

nah - completely ignore the 'daddy' comments - quite normal at that age and not what he really thinks at all. Is all a stage and it will pass. save the discipline for the stuff that matters (hitting etc) and don't go down the emotional blackmail route either.
it does get better (well it better had or I'm stuffed Grin)
