Waking all hours, was up from 6am today but yesterday was 3.45am!!

Not wanting to go to sleep and yelling.

He's grouchy and clingy and wants me to pick him up all the time.

I can't leave the room without him chasing after me hysterical and crying.

Please tell me this phase doesn't last long!!

He's 18 months btw

This stage doesn't last long :)

My DS2 was exactly the same and he is now 2.4 and even goes into nursery without crying - I never thought I'd see the day.

Do you have someone to come and take him away (taking my DS away from me tended to be easier than me leaving him IYSWIM) for you, even just for short spells? Then he'll get used to be being away from you?

That should also say at the end....

...and knowing you'll always be there when he comes back

Thanks! He does go to nursery 2 morning's a week and is absolutely fine! Never cries there it's just at bloody home.

I think he is ok if I am not around but If I am he can't bear to be apart from me.

Family and friends are over an hour away!

Dh is around nights and weekends so Ds will let him entertain him for a bit so I get a bit of peace.

I just have to keep telling myself it is just a phase!

Same here!!

My DD is so difficult - and it's only me that she tries it on with - everyone gets the smiles and playful side!!!

She's been going to nursery for over a year, and I still get the tears EVERY morning - although now, it's just crying - it's screaming, yelling banging on the window!!!

Unfortunately, no-one else can take her for me!

It's a tough gig isn't it?

Ds does love nursery tho , maybe I should put him in full time Wink
