My DS wakes me and his dad 5 to 6 times a night he lays in his bed and shouts and shouts and shouts until one of us goes through to him, he either wants tucked in, or asks if it's time to get up, anything to get us to go to him, we've tried ignoring him but he just gets louder, we've tried back to bed routine, bribery you name it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hiya, what about sleeping on the floor in his bedroom for a few nights so he knows you are on hand all night, he might get used to the idea of you being there and sleep all night?

its just a thought, i know a friend did this although the her ds was about 2.

you must be exhaustedSad until we moved house 8 months ago our dd then 4 used to wake every night and climb into our bed. i never had a good night sleep and was permantly tired so must only be a fraction of what you are feeling.

i hope someone comes along soon with more adviceSmile

OUr 5 year old used to climb into bed with us every night for about a year. Must be something to do with the age?

IN the end we told him there would be no wii the next day if he came in with us. If he stayed in his own bed he was allowed to play on the wii. It worked for us. You need to find something he cares about.
