Open mouthed kisses?

Ds2 is 10 months and does this thing where he launches at us, mouth open and tries to suck on us (dh or me) ... our face / arms / tummy, you name it! i used to think he was trying to latch on, but is he trying to kiss? so slobbery, that i just take him off, but now i feel guilty that maybe it is a sign of (slobbery) affection Grin

Probably, dd does it too. So did ds. It's funny because dd can blow kisses and makes the proper noise, but when it comes to actually kissing someone, she lunges in with an open mouth!

Yep my DS does this too. Whilst being possibly the most endearing thing ever when they first start doing it, it also used to give me the boak too. I mean I don't mind a bit of baby drool but I don't necessarily need it in my mouth!

yep, they do it at that age,dd is 9 months and she is doing it to everyone, however with the intention of biting you if you do not remove your mouth quickly,,cheeky monkey
