Is friend's DD turning into a shark?!

My friend's DD (5.5 yo) is getting her adult teeth. She now has two lots of molars, one lot coming through in front of the other.

Is that normal? She's a bit worried.

My DD had this. I think it's pretty common. Your friend could always get the dentist to have a look if she thinks the teeth are coming out at odd angles or anything.

My DS did, as did his BF. I'd never heard of it, but dentist said it's common.

Now wondering if I' rather have a shark

Ha ha - we called it crocodile teeth when ds's adult teeth grew behind his baby teeth! He soon lost the baby teeth and the adult ones have moved forward - albeit all a bit cramped as his adult teeth are massive
