Dd 9 seen to be getting boobs but the thing is she's never really went through breast buds. More just slightly swollen nipples with what looks like weight gain. Dd finding this hard as peer group have been teasing dd best friend who is over weight and has boobs due to the excess weight.

Weight seem to have become the talking point of peers. So understandable dd feel worried about developing chest that she might get teased. This is dd words "the other girls with small boobs are more pointy and mine just look fat like X" (bestfriend). She now starting to worry about been teased.

I don't know, my 9.8 DD is getting chunky but then she shoots up. Maybe it's the same for yours?

Is she tall/short/average compared to her peers?

If short/average, perhaps she is getting ready for a growth spurt?

Average compared to dd peers as school but tall compared to most 9 year olds. She just on the 95th centile not sure were she is for weight but I personally wouldn't think of her as chunky.
