When is it safe to allow your DCs to have a pillow?

DS is 18mo and still in his cot. He's recently taken to pushing his covers to the top of his cot and resting his head on them.

Is it ok to get him a little pillow, or should I wait until he is in a proper bed?

It's 'allowed' from a year IIRC.

Not under 12 months, so yours should be fine. You can get very flat cot pillows. The wool ones are supposed to be good for not overheating. John Lewis do a range.

And anyway, if he's making his own pillow and is sleeping on it, he obviously needs it.

Thanks, I'll get him a pillow then Smile
