Do anyone elses dc play up around certain people. Had my mum babysitting last night, which I do appreciate, but I can't stand being around her and dc at the same time. She is so soft with them that they act like spoilt brats, then I end up so pissed off with them and her that I regret having her babysit in the first place, or even having her round for a visit.

Just some reassurance that this is normal would be great, cos I just keep thinking about it over and over again and getting myself in a very bad mood. I don't think the flu is helping....

Thanks

Very normal I think. All grandparents are soft with their grand children.

ooh hi there - you are not alone - i have the same troubles with my partner's family - and even when the kids are in the wrong they stick up for them and to certain extent interfere with our disciplining them...

in short this leaves me exasperated, frustrated, angry, irritable and downright ignored!!!!!
