Shouldnt she have more by now?

She got all four at around 9 months in a short space of time and nothing since!
Now I am worried thy will all come together suddenly. Hmm

Milk tooth eruption is really variable. Some babes are even born with teeth; others wait ages. There isn't much you can do about it, so don't worry.

Here is a link to a chart of when you can expect them (but take it with a pinch of salt - my two cut their first teeth at 12 weeks).

Sorry - forgot to add the link Blush

Would'nt worry about it.

My DS never had a single tooth until 11 months then around 13/14 months they started to come through quite quickly.

They are all different so try not to look too much into it, I don't think anyone knows a person who's teeth just never grew :o

lol mamadiva, never heard of that! Thanks both

I wouldn't worry unduly.

ds got his first at 13 months and only has 4 now at 16 months

Another late teether here - at 15 months DD had none! Her molars appeared about then (first teeth). Now at 26 months she has 12 so still missing a few. There's not much you can do about it!

snowmummy · 18/01/2011 19:27

My DD had no teeth at all at 15 months. She's 3 and a half now and has all her milk teeth. My HV said there's no need to worry, but speak to a dentist if they still have none by 18 months.

Ds1 only got his first two at 11 months which I thought was late till I had ds2 toothless till the week he turned one! I kid you not people would be googling over him in the super market sayin oh what a cutey then stop abruptly and go oh he STILL has on teeth how odd Hmm my mother said I was the very same and she actually took me to the doctor who just laughed and said don't worry have you ever seen a child at school with no tooth? There def in there... Ds2 would def only have had 4 at 15months if the second two had even popped at that stage... Don't worry mines 2.9 with almost a full mouth now Grin
