hi all i`m looking for some advice my son was born at 26+2 days he had a grade 3 bleed severe bowel troubles and a few operations he had come through it all and is doing amazing drs are amazed at him , he it small and has been in size 6 to 9 months for 10 months altho drs say its normal i worry occasionally that he too small he is 2 in april and is just started to take baby steps on his own he crawls fast and climbes things i just would like some advice and c what other prem babies develop like

Hi DS2 was born at 30 weeks and had grade 3 bleeds and needed to have a VP shunt at 6 months adjusted. He is a couple of months younger than your son and he isn't walking yet. DS2 crawls really fast too (makes me laugh). I worry about him but have two older children and he is probably a little bit behind where they were at this age, but not much. I think our little ones are doing brilliantly considering what they have been through.

your right and thank you for your reply my boy is very lucky he seems so unfazed by everything is content and an amazing sleeper im so blessed seeing as tho he had a 10% chance of surviving glad your little one is doing so well having elder sibilings helps any child develop quicker so theyll b fine thanx again
