Sofa-bound and 16mo has started climbing up to demand milk every half-hour

I'm holed up with a broken ankle for the next few weeks and for obvious reasons can't get down on the floor to play with DD3. I have had lots of lovely helpers in in the last ten days, but DD3 just wants to climb onto my stomach all the time and snuggle down for a feed. She seems very unsettled and tearful (teething big time which doesn't help) but doesn't want stories or to play (such as I can at the moment), just milk. I feel useless enough looking after her (can't carry her or anything to do with her or take her for walks or drive her to playgroup), and being reduced to milky bar is not helping. She's been like this since I was in hospital last week. Do you think it will pass?

Yes i'm sure it will. She can sense that you are worried/ have been in pain and is confused as to why you can't play and missed you while you were away. Just do as much as you can , rest fully and things will be back to normal in no time at all.

Oh poor you. I'm sure things will settle down soon enough. And I hope you're back on your feet in no time.
