my DD is 10 months old and she has started climbing out onto table!! I would be preparing a meal and by the time I look around, she was on the table!! Should I be taking the harness off?? She can't be still for one second anyway...any hints?

Don't take the harness off- that surely makes escape easier!
Does it not have a 5 point harness- you know over the shoulders, around the waist and between the legs? Id be impressed if she could get out of that!
No advice other than watch how she does it and see if there's something you an stop the initial escape stages.

does it have a harness?

it really should! think you have to buy them separately tho looking at the accessories list on this website.

TBH my climber ds would never be in a highchair without some sort of restraint! even with me sat next to him!

We just use a bog standard harness (from a reins set) attached with D rings to the Tripp trapp. No chance of escape.

Your harness is waaaaay too loose if she can manage that... ds2 could barely lean forward with his harnass on and definitely couldn't stand on the seat to get up on the table.

Haven't got any advice really. Our DD could escape from anything and positively hated her Highchair. By about 10 months we had given up and abandoned it.

In the end we used a chair harness for a while. By the time she could escape that she was old enough to sit on a dining chair with a cushion.

Hope you have better luch Smile

I didn't realize they have 5 point harness! Thank you for that I'll order that immediately to keep her completely tied up :) Thank you!

My daughter used to do this. The harness was a life saver.

You could try one of these. www.houdinistop.co.uk. It fits in highchair & stroller harnesses

My daughter used to do this - she could escape from nearly anything and quickly worked out how to undo a 5 point harness. The only one that defeated her did up at the back!

I once turned round to find her standing on the tray of her highchair - a heart-stopping moment!

In the end we used a little table and chair for her, or a booster seat at the family table. And never took our eyes off her!
