Bossy Daughter

Help! My bright, chatty 4.8 year old is so bossy. We have tight boundaries at home, and she is not spoilt; but she is just so bossy around her friends. She wants to call all the shots, is very competitive and disolves into tears if she does not get her way. I am worried that she will end up with no friends. She has lots of friends at school, but the teacher says she is the one that other children often complain about. I have tried to explain what will happen if she continues to be bossy, but it is not working. Just dont know what to do.

I dont have any advice as such but maybe a little reassurance. My DD 2.4 is also very bossy and is constantly told she is like her Mummy hmmmmm - now I am still unfortunately (or maybe its not) but I never had a shortage of friends and don't in adulthood either.
Bossy can also equal assertive, decisive and leaders - we cannot all be the same
