When did your baby start pointing at things?

Just curious really. DS is 10 months (11 months in just over a week). He does look in the direction of something I'm pointing at but does not point himself yet.

Mine's 14mo and still does it only occasionally, I think he started at about 12mo.

my 12 month old has started doing this recently, over the past couple weeks.

21 month old and still doesn't actually point but he does hold his whole hand out in the direction of something he wants.

He didn't start doing it until a few months ago but he's always really had free access to whatever he wanted so he didn't really need to point.

DD started about 11 months (was 1 just before chrimbo) and she went from nothing to constantly pointing overnight.

DS (nearly 11 months) has been pointing for about a month. Not something we particularly tried to teach him (unlike waving which he still doesn't do) but like Weedle's DD he started pretty much overnight and hasn't stopped since (abandonned previous fave waving in favour of pointing).

That said, he doesn't clap and only says dada so some stuff they do and some they don't, so don't worry if he never does!
