Getting back to normal...

...after breast feeding... Following on for an earlier thread, how long it take for your breasts to go back to "normal" (or as normal as they can be post pregnancy and BF)? I have been dropping feeds/replacing with bottle and my DD is now exclusively on the bottle (and we have started weaning). A week after my final feed and I am still producing a little milk, but without engorgement.

Any clues/advice/ideas? I have a stash of breast pads, just in case, but do not want to splash out (ahem!) on any new bras!

With thanks

with my first we stopped BF at 6months. I was engorged for about 2/3days and then everything went back to normal but I could always get a little bit of milk out.

I got pregnant again when ds1 was 9 months and the milk never went away.

Many thanks. Off to the lingerie sales for me then!
