Hi there. We are having a bit of a nightmare with my 10 month old little girl who keeps pooing in the night (anywhere between midnight and 4am) and when I change her (only by torchlight)she wants to play. I give her a little cuddle and then have tried her back in the cot but the only thing that settles her is breastfeeding. I am now trying to stop breastfeeding ready for myreturn to work in a month so need to cut the night time feeds. LAst night I decided to cold turkey her ad let her cry (works for us in the day with naps) but she literally screamed for an hour and a half, after which I caved (didn't feed but cuddled). I just wondered if anyone had any tips? THanks in advance x

Hiya Joy- I would suggest you count back from the 'poo event' to the last meal you give her at night- maybe a bit of digestive adjustment would help- ie feed her earlier or later? Probably better to focus on the 'poo event' not happening rather than trying to settle her after?
