night nappy leaks - ds pulling them off

My ds is 29mo and not potty trained. He has started waking up most nights and some naps covered in wee (and his trousers, and the bedding) the nappy is dry or barely wet.
First we thought we were putting the nappy on badly, or it was too small, but it only ever happens in bed. We realised he was messing with his nappy so it's not on right. Now we realise he's touching his genitals as he falls asleep.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

If I were you and this is what Ive done in the past id buy some waterproof pants to put over the top of the nappy.

I think lots of boys touch themselves (not sexually) as they relax....least my teenagers always seem to have their hands there Grin.

I just solved this problem, so hope I can help. DS was getting erections in his sleep, then his willy was pointing upwards in his nappy. When he slept on his front it ran down the front. I now put a cotton wool ball on his willy pointing down, then secure the nappy over the top. It helps keep it securely down during the night and no more wet nights.
