6 months, I think, although he wanted to do it from around 5 / 5.5 months.

I know babies who didn't roll till 10 or 11 months (and at least one went from rolling to crawling to walking all within a week at 10/11 months Shock).

KangarooCaught · 29/12/2010 14:59

Am sure dc1 did it at about 4 months which was a pita with the advice to sleep them on their backs, can't remember for dc2 but it wasn't early, dc3 is nearly 6months and showing no sign.

So easy to worry, even when an experienced mum, isn't it? At Christmas we met a cousin's baby who at 7 moths is crawling fast, sitting and playing nicely with toys - dc3 just lies there enjoying being adored and sucking the giraffes on his mobile Grin

dd1 was 9 months
dd2 was 5 months

FoxyRevenger · 29/12/2010 20:56

At 25 weeks she finally rolled over from back to front, after trying from about 13 weeks.

Then we had a week of screaming every time she got stuck on her front, until she realised she could flip over onto her back too at 26 weeks. Grin

Ds2 is 15 weeks and he rolled for the first time the other night. The first I knew about it was when I woke up to him crying and found him on the floor (we co-sleep) luckily we're on a mattress on the floor and he hasn't done it again since.

Ds1 was about 6 1/2 months if I remember correctly. I left him on the floor of the living room, went and made a cup of tea and found him half way across the room under the coffee table.

5 months and she was the first at the baby group including a few who were months older than her.

Now she is the ONLY one not walking!

strawberrycake · 01/01/2011 21:00

back to front - just before 3 months
front to back - still waiting at 7 months

pita with constant rescuing from his front as he'll only sleep on his back

woofie · 02/01/2011 19:48

Opposite to strawberrycake;

front to back at 15 weeks
still waiting for back to front at nearly 7 months

SlightlyTubbyHali · 02/01/2011 19:50

DD1 did it first at less than 4 months, and then went rolling-mad at about 5 months.

DD2 didn't roll until she was maybe 8 months, never crawled, bum shuffled immediately and walked at 11 months. A different path but she is physically more advanced than DD1 was at the same age.

DancingThroughLife · 02/01/2011 22:17

DD did it at just over 6 months, but had been trying since about 4/5 weeks Shock Even the doctor couldn't believe what he was seeing when I took her for the 7 week check.
