Is she too old for formula milk?

DD is 20 months and still on the SMA, she wont drink cows milk or water, is she too old to still be on formula? What else can i try in her bedtime bottle?

Just switch completely and stick to it. It must be costing you a fortune.

Why dont you half and half then steadily make more cows milk than formula.. Cant see why being on formula is a huge problem though

Can you try slowly swapping formula for cows milk ie start with say an 8floz bottle of formula swap half a floz every 3 - 4 days with half floz cows milk until you have changed over to cows milk totally.

I dont know for sure but the only problem with formula milk is that it has a form of sugar in it? im sure someone will correct me on that if im wrong though (my DD's soy milk does - she still has hers and is 2.6 yrs! )

I know someone who still gives their 6yo DD SMA Gold why????

Would go down the half and half route like others have suggested, all milk has a sugar in it called lactose.

I dont know why she would rather have sma than milk. has anybody tasted sma, its yuk.

Agree to do a gradual switch. BUT my DD, who is 2.5 is still on SMA because the ENT consultant recommended it as it has added iron. WHen the current stock is gone though I'm going to just give her our milk as I'm fed up with it!

Is the SMA warmer than the regular milk you've offered ?
