my son is very sensitive and dramatic at times . Other kids have occasioally called him a 'stress head'
He seems very bratty at times and argues back when not getting what he wants , when we tell him off it goes from bad to worse resulting in a crying, shouting tantrum often saying hurtful things such as he no longer has a mum or he hates his life or he will run away , he hates us etc etc.
he is sometimes sorry afterwards but still not sure he really understands why we were upset with himn.
its really upsetting as in all honesty life is pretty damn good for him.

He has recently had issues at school , looked like bullying but school said it was all him and they were considering problems such as aspergers.

i am now thinking that weeekends that have been spoilt by his horrible outbursts started before he started at the school, and really i havent realised that this is very abnormal for a child this age

or is it ?

Sounds like the teenage years are creeping up.

DS doesn't have AS but he can be a selfish wuss, has his own special triggers and flashpoints. I kind of know what his limits are and try not to push them.
