Just wondering.

DD 16mth knows who I am, daddy and the cats etc but doesnt seem to know who she is. Ie if you say 'what are you' she just laughs.

My DS at 18 months sometimes says his name and points to himself (well, tries to say his name, comes out as ME-oh, he's called Theo )... but still usually looks non-plussed if we ask 'who are you?' but will happily reply 'daddy, teddy, mama, dog woof woof' to the applicable things lol

Then again he called me a moo yesterday. Either he's not quite got the hang of it or he's really intelligent

DD thinks she's called "You"

We show her photos and ask her who it is, and we've spent so long saying "That's You!!!" that she now points and says "YOU!"

Now if I try pointing to her and saying "and you're bronwyn" she says "no... ME".

One day.....
