DD wont keep her clothes on

Dd (20 months) wont keep her clothes on, shes only happy with no clothes on, getting woried as its not very warm in our house. Is this normal? how can i get her to keep the on? geting fed up with cleaning up puddles.

My DD is 3 and spends most of her time at home completely butt-naked, too !

If you feel she's ready for toilet-training, go haead. Otherwise bribe her to keep her nappy on "do you want to go to do some drawing? Well, you need to keep your nappy on for that." "Do you want to go to the swings? Well, you need to keep all your clothes on for that." As for clothes in general - what does it really matter? If she's cold she'll soon learn either to keep her clothes on, or to ask you to put them back on. This is probably just a phase as she's probably so peased with herself for being able to take her clothes off. Don't sweat it, or it'll become a tool foer her to wind you up with.

dd is also 20 months and we have so far managed to keep a top/dress on her (just) tho she is now beginning to rebel against that too. I try to put her in tops/dresses that need buttons doing up so she keeps them on. Luckily tho shes very nearly toilet trained herself so thats grand (totally unplanned by dp and I as we thought next summer would be better).

Buy a potty and direct her to it every hour or so? Sellotape the nappy on? Sorry not much help really am I?
