Please help, my 15 month old has become extremely clingy. I went back to work after 12 months and now when i am around she wants me to do everything. Cries when with other family members and even her dad which is obviously very difficult for him. Any advice on how to break the this cycle would be really appreciated.

It's going to sound counter intuative but in my experience the thing is to cuddle them more. Time will come soon enough when they stop needing mum so much and will go to Dad - but you shouldn't deny them Mummy cuddles if they're telling you that is what they need right now.

Totally agree with PP. My 15 mo DD is similar, but I notice a real difference in her if I spend lots of time playing, cuddling, just doing what she wants. Seems like she needs to fill up on mummy before she can face anyone else.
