Postbox woes. DS old keeps posting stuff outside!

DS is 2 3/4, his main form of entertainment is to open and slam doors and oven doors, and post things out of the letterbox outside --- any suggestions?!!

We do drawing, reading, walking, shopping, leaf collecting, playing cars and trains, cuddling, cooking and we watch Disneys Cars on a daily regular basis so I am sure he's not bored....

Cover up the postbox with something that lets the post come in? Like a basket thingy?

Aha! I never thought of that, cheers!

Buy him a toy postbox from ELC.
Or cheaper version, a cardboard box with variety of differnent slots for him to post things in.

Ah my 22mo likes to do this too. I have found a dvd, various bits of paper, and one of my credit cardsShock on the doorstep in the last few weeks.

I do an hourly sweep of the garden outside the cat flap. Mostly toys, shoes, the odd Iphone. DD only 15 mo, so it sounds like I've got a while of this to go!

No suggestions I'm afraid, just sympathy.

When I just had my well behaved DD I could never understand toddlers who did these type of things

Now I have a 14 month old DS who spends most of his time trying to get evey item I own into the toilet.
