baby to cot

I am having some problems settling my 3 month old son into his cot - any tips on how to do this would be appreciated. The nights are terrible!!

Where was he before? Was he in your bed or in a moses basket? if moses basket, put him in the basket and put the basket in the cot for a few nights.

Or try swaddling to make him feel snug.

I think that babies like moses baskets because it's snug and cosy,a nd cots are so big and empty!

I did the same thing recently she woke every couple of hours for a few nights I think it was because when she stirred in the night she didn't know where she was. Just persevere and he will get used to it and start sleeping better.
