light spot on baby's brain

i have a baby on NICU care an she's 15 days old on born 9 weeks prem, we got told today that she's got a light spot on her brain but he said it could clear up. Has anyone ever been in this situation.

Could anyone maybe explain what the light spot could be, and if there's going to be any problems with her later on in life.

I had a girl who was at great ormond street for a while and I know how hard it is to have unanswered questions. Unfortunately I haven't heard about this so can't be of any help but just wanted to offer my sympathies (and congratulations too on your baby girl). I hope she grows quickly and can come home to you soon. Sounds like you have had a traumatic time so far. My advise fro now would be to talk to your doctors, keep going to them with questions if you are worried about something. I hope someone else comes along with experience about this. Lots of love.
