Head Shaking Baby

MY DS2 is eight months old and has shaken his head from side to side for months - firstly to get himself off to sleep (wonderful!) and now for pleasure. I think its quite cute, but my DH thinks it's a bit strange. Does anyone else have a head shaking baby?

My friend's ds does this when he is teething.

My DD 6 months finds it so funny, and won't stop giggling as she does it. also does strange twisty thing with her tongue.

My DD does this and shes only 10 weeka - she does it when going to sleep and also sometimes when feeding. I've been worrying about it as well.

My dd did it too - I assume they do it because they realise that when they do, it changes the way things look, and they enjoy seeing it. I always put it down to being just one of those things that babies realise they can do, so they do them over and over.
