I've been lurking on here for a while, and hope that someone has some advice!

My DS has just turned 1 (3 weeks ago) and in the past week or so, he's been biting everything, his toys, the sofa, the coffee table, me (my shoulder or arm mainly), and his own arm. It does leave a red mark when he bites me or himself!

It's been nearly 2 months since his last tooth came through, so I'm guessing it's teething pain that's causing him to do this.

Is this just a phase he's going through and something that he'll grow out of?

yes and yes, and i think all you can do is give him teething toys, lollies, a cold flannel, so he has other things to bite on. chunks of cold cucumber too.
