wrong topic i know,sorry.but im not getting any answers in pregnancy.can a midwife pass on information about an unborn baby to ANYONE? either a another health professional or a member of the general public?

As a medical professional s/he can only pass on information as a referral for further care, to your gp for records or as a duty of care if the information discloses danger to either the patient or another individual.

They can only do it on a need to know basis, so as wtsst says basically no they can't
