Sorry but how do you wipe a child's bottom!?
DS gets so cross with me saying "touch your toes"

Its actually quite hard to do I think standing up!?

What age do you start to teach them to do it themselves? Oh and how?!

my ds (3yrs) beds over and rests his head on the floor , its easy to do whilst there still sat on the toilet as the bottoms similar to how it'd be if he was bent over. My ds will attempt to do it himself but is never properly clean if he does.

Oh good glad I'm not the only on e getting my child to stand on his head then!!

my ds also touches his toes. he is 5 but sometimes needs a bit of help. i find he manages better himself if he uses baby wipes rather than toilet roll.

The wet flushable wipes are a godsend, dont need to get the Kandoo ones, Andrex do a "moist" tissue, you can flush up to 3 (or is it 5?) at a time. Dont flush your babywipes down the loo, they will block it. Of course you can bin them as usual but its nice to have something flushable if its your youngest child so are otherwise free of smelly nappy bins and the like.

I get my preschooler to stand and bend and I give him a wipe with wet flushables. I has done it himself a bit too but at the moment we have a longer term tummy bug in the house that's not shifting so I'm covering all avenues regarding hygeine.

oh yes i should have said that, dont flush baby wipes. we nappy sack them. don't want to be responsible for trying having to get a plumber out

I did wonder if DD would be the only one presenting her bum for a wipe like that at pre-school. It's much easier.
