my 12 month old wont go to sleep. she had a virus a few days ago but seems well over it now. before this she was no trouble at night at all and went to sleep in moments. now she is screaming hysterically. the last couple of nights i have given up and let her potter around in the livng room with me, peridically trying to get her back to bed. last night i got her to sleep at 11pm! she went to bed at 7 before this!
today she has had regualr naps and eaten very well but at bedtime the hysterical screaming again. i have tried what i usually do which is take her in my room and lie down on the bed with her until she calmsdown then try again - this time that made her even worse and she screams before i even get to the door way of her room.
any ideas?
