DS almost 3 loves playing with girls, never any problems shares well. He plays 'boy' games and is a real, boy but......

hates boys!!

Its a nighmare! He gets cross if they want to play with him, gets very posessive and we get hitting or worse bitting! This has never happened with a girl! I have a zero tollerance and after a warning before a play date/soft play etc if happens we go home. He is getting better but I have to watch him 100% of teh time to the point I am nervous leaving him with a friend if I need to change DS2. If we are playing with girls I can totall relax! Its mad!!

Boy friends he know very well are much less of an issue strangly it tends to be unknown boys.

What on earth do I do!?

My DD is three in March and at playgroup she goes about with a little posse of boys...they're all about three...they're unfailingly rough with one another but very gentle with her.

I think it's fine...she just doesn't enjoy girs games at the moment...maybe your son is the same? My DD likes trains, she loves jumping off things....like the boys...the girls at her playgroup love dressing up and pretending to put on makeup etc. DD finds it dull.

I am sure that at this early age it is no indicator of them having a hard time at school or anything.

I worry more that he will be agressive to the boys at school and by then the girls won't want to play with him as he is a boy!?
