I'm new to all this by the way. I'm looking for some advice so thanks in advance for your help.
My 5 year old son has a 6 year old friend who is generally lovely, energetic and a little more headstrong and wild than my son.
His friend has been allowed to have a penknife and recently, when upstairs in his friend's bedroom, my son was threatened to hide under the bed or on the count of 3 his friend would stab him.
My son told me about this a few days after the incident. He said he was scared to come out of the room but didn't seem put off seeing his friend again. I've since told him mum but I'm not sure what happens next.
My concern now is how much I can trust this little boy when with my son again. I've heard him be fairly bossy and dogmatic with him when I'm with them both and I've had to talk to my son about not doing everything his friend asks him to do.
Does anyone have any experience of anything like this?
