This may sound like a daft question, but DS2 has just moved from ff to cow's milk and seems to be drinking it as if it's going out of fashion Blush.

Is there such a thing as too much and should we be worried?

We're going through about 4 pints every 48 hrs!! Shock

in the uk anything between 12 and 20oz is ok - any more than that can fill them up and put them off other foods.

Yes, there is.

But use your common sense... if she is eating 3 meals a day and glugging loads of milk then ok, if she is not eating, just pecking at bits and glugging milk then time to cut back on the milk. My DD (almost 2) drinks a lot of milk and eats a lot of food. Sometimes she drinks a lot more milk than other times... growth spurts I reckon.

I think the main concern is that they get enough iron, so make sure she has some red meat or green leafy stuff (if she eats that, my DD doesn't but my DS did).

Thank you for your replies Smile. He's not a bad eater but he's very tiny (1st centile) so we've always worried about weight gain, etc.

He eats a fairly varied diet so should be alright on the vitamins.

Just seemed like a hell of a lot of milk for one so tiny!
