newborn sleep pattern

We have a 2 week old little boy who sleeps for up to 4 hours in the day and wakes every 1/2 -2 hours for feeding at night.

Does this sound usual?

When is usual for him to start sleeping for longer at night / going longer between feeds?

I am breastfeeding but have given him a bottle last thing at night to try and encourage a longer initial sleep.

Any other tips? / advice please?

Sounds normal. Normally around six weeks is when they notice day / night.

As for tips - my only point would be that its better for your milk supply if you feed at night, that the bottle will probably make no difference, and that its actually proven that EBFing mothers get nearly an hour more sleep at night because of the hormones triggered by milk production etc :)
