Help! What to do with 6 month old

DD seems to have suddenly got bored of rolling around on her playmat with her rattles.

I have just had a moment of guilt that I haven't bought her lots of educational toys already and have resorted to giving her a wooden spoon and some stackable plastic bowls to play with! Blush

I am going to order some toys online - anyone got any suggestions? What did your 6 month olds really enjoy?

Thanks!

You might be interested in this thread. A wooden spoon is a fantastic toy for a 6 month old! And stacking bowls too! Do not be embarrassed!

As well as the treasure basket idea, how about putting out the saucepans and letting her play the saucepan orchestra? (if you can stand the racket).

Oh thanks Widgeon! Didn't see that thread!

Yes that sounds like a fab idea - I think I was given a hand out about treasure baskets at sure start centre but lost it.

I actually have a nice wicker basket so I will start on mine tomorrow!

I must say dd was absolutely fascinated by the wooden spoon!
