my dd is 2.10 and has just started saying she wants me every time she is just a little bit upset. this is a new thing, and sometimes she says it when i'm sitting right next to her. we are definitely getting on better just recently and i'm wondering whether it's a product of that. i am chuffed that she's saying she wants me, but i feel massively guilty when she's crying and asking for me when i'm dropping her at the cm, or if dad is taking her out, etc.
is it a phase?

Hi there

I'm a childminder and therefore my ds (2.5) sees me all the time. He's going through the same phase at the moment and sometimes screams when I leave the house for something or if he wants more milk in bed, he INSISTS it's me that does it (even though I've spent the whole day running round after him ). He's never been like this before and tbh, he's actually getting better now. I'd say it's probably a phase and not to worry about it.
