Hi,

My son is 13 and half months and is crawling well, climbing up stairs and pulling himself up on everything. However, he isn't standing alone yet. Should I be worried? I mentioned it to my GP who said if he wasn't doing so by 14 months we should have a formal meeting. My husband thinks this is unnecessary and that we should give him longer.

I'd be very grateful for any advice.

My DS is the same age and doing exactly the same things. It never occurred to me that this might be something to worry about. He's making good progress and will do it in his own time.
