DD who won't poo in potty or toilet!

Can anyone suggest how I can get my three year old DD to poo in a potty or toilet? I probably did leave it a little late to potty train her but we have sorted the weeing part and she has been out of nappies for a few months now. She will tell us that she needs a poo but will go and put on some pull ups before she does it. We have tried nearly everything to try and get her to use the toilet - star charts, bribery, hiding the nappies!
Any suggestions?

Just leave it. She knows when she needs to go and doesn't do it in her pants. She will grow out of it. The last thing you want is to create tension over poo and have her witholding to avoid going on the potty.

DD (3 yrs) is exactly the same. She holds it in until she has a nappy on at bedtime or goes in her sleep. She's getting lots of pain in her tummy and I've tried everything to get her to go on the potty/toilet too Confused

As Indith says, they will do it when they are ready I guess. My DD was also late to potty train but mastered the wees really easily when she was just over 3.
