DD 9.5 and concentration. Teacher says there could be more to it.

DD is an only 9.5 YO. She is a delight in many ways, but super challenging in others.
I've just had her consultation with the teacher and there were no surprises. Since she first went to school, the main criticism/comment about her is her inability to concentrate for more than about 3 minutes.
Her teacher, who is very experienced thinks there may be something other than 'head in the clouds' and is suspecting a SN of some sort.
She already takes the fish oil supplements and das done for years.
Anyone had any experience of this sort of thing?

Thanks all for the input. Hopefully she'll be seen or observed today, then it's a weeks half term and then things can move on.
She was pretty focussed this morning, when I got back from dropping DH off she was virtually ready. She lied about cleaning her teeth and swore she had till I pointed out that her toothbrush was bone dry. I think she is tired too, although that is probably just me making excuses for her!

kreecher - just seen this after posting a similar (but longer!) message about my 9 year old DD. She functions ok ish at school - the main problems are at home. She is lovely but hugely frustrating. We have been doing fish oils for years, she is still scatty! I get what you say about your DD being a delight but not like other girls.

That's clearly where we differ. DD is unfocused all the time.
I am dreading pick up TBH, but at least things should be moving along in the right direction. Yikes.
