He is 6 and still more off than on at dry nights. When he potty trained he had to battle through his attention problems... he's not ADHD or anything, but will often have accidents whilst he's doing something fun, like playing on the computer. These accidents can sometimes be little leaks, but can also be major wets that he leaves until I notice the smell.
This morning has had 1 major and 1 minor accident already and I am not sure the best thing to do. I do think it's a lot to do with his attention, and I guess thats normal for boys to get tunnel vision (apparently it helps them hunting lol) but then he just sits there with it, and that's my real problem- he doesn't seem to care!
I've tried ignoring the issue just getting him cleaned up, or chivvying him to pay attention, removing him from what he is doing until he can "listen to what his body tells him"
Any advice? I don't give warnings (3 and he gets a "punishment") for it but I can't not do anything. Apart from personal health issues, he is at school and I am worried he'll get a reputation- and we all know how sticky bad reputations can be.
All hail the tumble dryer who helps me deal with multiple bed, quilt and clothes changes in this house!
