Hi

I have 18 month old twin girls. One sleeps 12 hrs no problem with the other it's very hit and miss.

I have noticed that the days I work and my mum has them during the day during the night my on twin becomes a complete nightmare. My mum says she eats well, plays out etc and is busy. Last night, she sleep from 7pm to 11pm and then hysterical refused to settled. She's never slept in my bed. She usually settles herself in her own room but last night she woke everytime I put her back in her cot. When I took her to see if she wanted milk she started to fall asleep instantly on my bed BUT as soon as we got to her room she went nuts again. This seems to happen on the 2 evenings I work during the day. Any suggestions, opinions?

Sarah

No advice I'm afraid but lots of sympathy and I'll be watching this thread with interest. My 17 month old DS has just started having screaming episodes (either before going to bed or after he's gone to bed) which can last over an hour. He's having one right now (he's with DH) and had one that lasted an hour and a half before he went to bed last night so I feel your pain. My nerves are completely shredded and I'm not 26 weeks pg! I wondered if it was me being at work related as well as he's usually fine on the days I don't work. Great, another thing to feel guilty about.

H mmmm.... I think we might both have the same problem if it only happens on days the children are not Witt us. I can't see what I can do? I read them a story before bed when the get back from my mums but it's a bit late to do much else?

Hope you get some sleep too!!!

Well, he just screamed for nearly an hour before going down for his nap today so clearly not just days he's with CM Confused

I've just been reading about the 18 month old sleep regression and think maybe that's what's happening. Apparently it can last weeks or months - here's hoping it's days!
