DD says nursery is yuck but staff say she's doing fine

Am really upset about my DD1, 3.6, who says she doesn't want to go to nursery, doesn't like it, it's yuck, etc. She goes for two and a half hours a day, four times a week. She's been going since April, but they had a long break for the summer.
The thing is, the teachers tell me she seems happy when she's there, that she joins in and is very talkative. Is it just that they're not sensitive to her real feelings? Or does she like it really when she gets there?
Has anyone else experienced this disrepancy between what they say about nursery and how they seem actually to get on? It's really getting me down to hear her complaints and reluctance every day.
Thanks!

My dd is exactly the same, and I'm also wondering who is telling the truth. Will be watching this thread for advice.
The only thing that cheers me up, is that sometimes she drops the act and tells me something that she did that she obviously enjoyed. Which makes me think she is actually enjoying it and is just trying it on a bit.

My ds (now 7) always moaned non-stop from leaving the house til we got to the pre-school door. His teachers were genuinely shocked by how upset I was, as he was so happy there and was never anything but 100% involved and happy there. I think that it was just that he needed to tell me, and that on balance he'd really rather be at home with me!

And now in Yr 3 at school and does exactly the same.....
Very wearing for parents, but I know that he's perfectly happy at school, but just like dh and work, he'd rather be at home, thank you very much!
