Well, for months my ds has looked disdainfully at the potty and the loo, and I began to despair of ever getting him interested in potty training ( he's 2.9). Tonight, all very off-hand before his bath I said 'do you want to do wee wee in the potty?' He went and stood by it and like a big grown up boy stood there and did a wee right into it!Grin. He then went and sat on the loo and did a wee in that as well! I am in total Shock, but dead proud of him. I know it probably doesn't sound much to many of you but to me it's a flamin miracle.

My little girl never potty trained til she was about 3. I got sick of other people comparing her to other kids in the family, she just simply wasn't ready for it. Then one day she just went all on her own and that was that. I remember making such a big fuss and being so proud. My DD just looked at me like I was a moron lol

I used to look down my nose at women going on about stuff like this thinking that I'll never behave like that when I have kids........ and look at me now! Grin

That's brilliant! It is ridiculous the things that make you feel so proud isn't it- same with DS2, he's just started pooing in the potty after months of hell. The first time I was so proud I texted a photo of said poo to DH [embarrassed but proud emoticon]

Haha, I wonder if I will do the same when ds does his first poo in there! Grin
