Hi. Firstly, sorry if this is an over-anxious 1st time mum post.
My daughter is 26 months and weighs 10kilos and is about 96cm in height. That would make her around 95th percentile in height but only 5th percentile in weight. I bumped into our nurse in the shops and she asked about my daughters weight and then asked if I was worried. I'm not but this is what she eats - do you think it is enough?
Breakfast - given 1 and half weetabix, takes 1, Cup of milk, Banana
Mid morning - apple, yoghurt, raisins, maybe biscuit if my mother is minding her.
Lunch - Cottage pie, roast chicen, curry etc - basically something we ate
Tea - she is terrible here, try scrambled eggs, chicken goujons, rice pudding etc
Do I need to ramp it up.
I am mid height and am not big but no slim either - as are all my family.
My husband is 6ft so not particularly tall, although his family would be thin.

My 36 month old dd never seems to put on weight. She is very slim but eats very well but doesn't enjoy chocolate, sweets etc!!! Your daughters diet sounds great. Just give her yoghurt and fruit for tea if she is not hungry.
I also have a ds who is 5 and huge with weight sometimes above height!
I think they are either big or not big no matter what they eat(as long as its pretty healthy of course).

As long as she's not having too much fibre and is getting plenty of 'good' fats then she's probably fine - if she's not listless and is cheerful and energetic then she's probably getting enough for her needs.

Well, her diet doesn't seem to be stunting her growth!

Both my DSs are on the 95th centile for height but 2nd/5th for weight also. They eat healthy diets and love fruit, veg and meat. I struggle to get them to eat enough carbs. I do feel cross sometimes when I have given DS1 a piece of cake in his otherwise healthy packed lunch and he has been stopped from eating it and given a leaflet on "Healthy Lunchbox Suggestions" to give to me! Angry

I have thin kids! I need them to eat stodge and fat sometimes or they will waste away!
