Slow growth of toddler

My ds is 2 next month and he's rather small for his age. He is 80cm and weighs about 24lb. His growth has been very slow since he turned 1 so I've got to take him back to see the Paediatrician next month. Has anyone else got a child who is also growing rather slowly? My ds has just moved up into the room for 2-3 year olds at nursery and he looks rather small compared to the other children. My ds eats well so its a bit of a mystery.

dd looks about a year younger than she is. She's just 4 and only around 95 cm tall, shoe size 6 1/2 and possibly 12 - 13kg. Saw some of the girls from her Reception class the other day, some of whom are already turning 5 and she looks very diddy. ds wasn'yt that big until around the age of 5 and is now pretty average at 7 1/2

I have a DD like that, too, LIZS. DD will be 4 in 4 weeks but is still wearing size 2-3 clothes (mostly, some are too big for her even). I think she's about 95 cm, too. DS1 is also a smallish (~111 cm); he'll be 6 in 8 weeks and trousers size 4-5 are only "a bit" more than the perfect length. DS2 is about average height for his age, quite a novelty in this household. DH & I are both well above average height, btw.

My kids also ate like pigs at age 1-2.5yo, Mum-2-1. I don't know where it goes, either!

Should explain... my older 2 were about average length for first 6 months of life, they dramatically slowed down after that.
