2 year check, is it worth bothering with?

DS had an appointment given for a 2 year check a couple of months ago which we couldn't make. I rang the HV and she works part time opposite days to me, but she thought she might be working on a suitable day some time in September, and she'd call me back. She never has done (and she's quite scatty so I'm not surprised).

Is it actually worth chasing up? I don't have any concerns, as far as I can tell DS is doing fine.

If you are not unduly worried about anything then I wouldn't bother. I had concerns regarding my daughter's speech and she just told me to visit GP and quite frankly her nursery are dealing with it better than the HV and GP so I wouldn't go out of my way to make it :)

Thanks, I thought that was probably the case, just wanted to check I wasn't being unduly slack. :)
